Terms and conditions

Available for whom

1	Undergraduate and graduate students from MSU partner universities who intend to spend 1 or 2 semesters in MSU. Tuition fee is usually waived in the framework of inter-university agreements. To find out if your university is a partner of MSU visit «Foreign Partners».

2	Undergraduate and graduate students from non-partner universities (free-movers) who intend to spend 1 or 2 semesters in MSU. Free-movers can study in MSU based on the agreement, which is concluded between the free-mover and Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Please, for starting mobility program (Exchange & visiting students) you must visit the online portal for incoming exchange and visiting students and it is very important to be in contact with the mobility coordinator.



The academic year at Moscow State University traditionally starts on September 1.

It is structured as follows:



Fall semester: September 1 — January 24



Spring semester: February 7 — June 24
