Welcome to the Faculty of Biology, Lomonosov Moscow State University!

An Incoming International Student Mobility Program (Student Exchange) is your opportunity to have an internship of any length of time or study for one semester or full academic year at MSU.

An Incoming International Student Mobility Program is your opportunity to have an internship of any length of time or study for one semester or full academic year at MSU, Faculty of Biology.

Types of Mobility Programs

Exchange & Visiting students

1 or 2 semesters

Russian & English courses

Bachelor & Master’s program

Individual study plan (ISP)
and may include scientific project

Counts for ECT credits upon ISP

Contract basis: international exchange program scholarships, external funding, University collaboration

Internship students

Usually less than a semester

Russian & English courses

Concerns Scientific project

Individual internship plan (IIP)

Grant with Certificate and may result in publication

Contract basis: third-party scholarships and external funding

Internships are possible for a short period of time (less than a semester), study a specific topic and can be devoted only to field studies & practices or wet-lab work.
